5) Body Change
Captain Ginyu 's signature technique was first displayed during his battle against Goku on Namek. The latter allowing him to pose as the Saiyan warrior to deceive and disturb his friends for a short period of time.
This technique has many benefits, the main one being granting Ginyu the power of those he swaps bodies with. What makes it a powerful technique is the fact that he appropriates the power of the person he clones, even if they are stronger than him! 4) Destructo Disc
Krillin often gets a bad rap due to the number of defeats he's suffered, but he should be given more credit for inventing one of the most versatile attacks in the entire series. Without Vegeta's warning, Krillin's Destructo Disc would have killed Nappa , and it would have cut through Frieza's tail like butter. 🔪
Other characters have also appropriated the technique for their own purposes: Vegeta used it to cut off Meta-Cooler's arm, Android 18 used the disk to separate Goten and Trunks when they were disguised as Mighty Mask.
Goku also used the attack to cut Super Buu in half, preventing him from killing Gohan. Although it never finished a battle, the Destructo Disc gave fighters a fighting chance against superior opponents.
3) Kaio Ken
Before Goku awakened his Super Saiyan powers, the Kaio-ken was one of his greatest assets. Serving as a multiplier of his strengths and senses, Goku often used this attack in short bursts against his opponents who outclassed him. The Kaio-ken allowed his Kamehameha to defeat Vegeta's Galick Gun in their first fight, and also gave him the speed he needed to intercept Nappa in mid-air before he could harm Krillin and Gohan . Although Goku is the only person to have used this attack successfully, King Kai can teach it to anyone. The major downside is that this technique has an immediate impact on the user's body, and there are even theories reporting that using this ability is what gave Goku his heart disease.

2) Energy Shield
Depending on the user, this technique goes by many names and colors, but works the same throughout Dragon Ball Z. Android 17's barrier protected him from Piccolo's Hellzone grenade, and Future Gohan's protected the Saiyan from a barrage of ki from the Androids.
Majin Buu conjured a barrier to protect himself from a military assault, and even Prince Vegeta used one during a flashback in the episode "The End of Vegeta".
