15. GOHAN SUPER SAIYAN
What's truly "epic" about Gohan 's debut as a Super Saiyan is how casual he is. Even from a storytelling perspective, Toriyama structured the events in a way that made readers focus more on Goku. Gohan is therefore supposed to stay in his place in the anime, but from time to time he allows himself to comment on his father's power, not knowing why Goku is "holding back". 😡
In truth, Gohan's Super Saiyan form is truly above all the other members of Goku's gang, it's not even a coincidence for Gohan to succeed in reaching it. The Super Saiyan 2 will eventually immediately eclipse his first form, but it's still worth emphasizing how powerful and rage-filled Gohan was with just mastering his first transformation. 🔥

14. VEGETA SUPER SAIYAN GOD
Much to our astonishment, Dragon Ball Super curiously failed to show that Vegeta had achieved or even used the Super Saiyan God form from the start. The Dragon Ball Z: The Resurrection of 'F' movie, anime and manga act as if the part where the Super Saiyan God appears is sketchy. However, it is interesting to note that the manga shows Vegeta using the Super Saiyan God form during the Black Goku arc.
Using the SSG as his base form, Vegeta can circumvent Super Saiyan Blue's stamina issues (only in the Dragon Ball manga) by triggering the SSB just as he attacks Goku Black. Vegeta is able to crush the opposition using this new form in an incredibly creative way. The fact that Vegeta uses the SSG again in the Dragon Ball Super: Broly movie will be the icing on the cake. 🍒
13. GOKU SUPER SAIYAN 2
Goku 's Super Saiyan 2 form doesn't do much in the grand scheme of the DBZ series, mainly due to the fact that it only exists in the Buu arc (as far as the original series is concerned) . That said, Goku's Super Saiyan 2 form will forever remain one of SSJ's finest designs. His electrified aura and iconic spiky hair keep the spirit of the original Super Saiyan while giving him a considerable advantage. ➕➕
Super Saiyan 2 is not as extreme as Goku's Super Saiyan 3 form, as you can imagine. Additionally, the anime even includes an extra filler part towards the end of the arc, where Goku fights Kid Buu in his SSJ2 form . It's arguably the best fight in the Dragon Ball Z saga and it's also one of the highlights of the Buu arc of the anime. 👍
12. GOKU SUPER SAIYAN BLUE KAIOKEN
Although the Kaioken form is granted a little too frequently in the Saiyan arc, Toriyama will literally throw it out the window the moment Goku reaches the Super Saiyan stage. He isn't even mentioned again in the manga, leaving the anime to reinsert him into Goku's skillset again shortly after his death in the Cell Games . It's also interesting to note that the DBS anime followed suit while the manga did not.
While Goku simply uses Super Saiyan Blue to overpower Hit in the manga, he instead chooses to mix Super Saiyan Blue with the Kaioken in the anime, giving him a considerable advantage. This will also become one of Goku's main assets in the anime adaptation. However, as the manga does not use the Kaioken form, Goku has full control over Super Saiyan Blue in it. 📖
11. MAJIN VEGETA SUPER SAIYAN 2
Vegeta isn't exactly in the best frame of mind when he finds out that he and Goku aren't going to have what appears to be a clandestine match in the 25th Tenkaichi Budokai Tournament . He deteriorates further when Goku briefly triggers the Super Saiyan 2 form against Yakon, confirming to Vegeta that his rival had therefore definitely surpassed him. 📈
Luckily for Vegeta, Babidi is around and chooses to possess the prince, feeding off his negative emotions. However, Vegeta is too strong and breaks Babidi's manipulation, choosing instead to goad Goku into fighting him - even if it means killing innocent people. Vegeta will eventually recover, but Majin Vegeta SSJ2 will prove to be a real war machine. 🤖

10. VEGETO SUPER SAIYAN BLUE
Super Saiyan Blue , also called "Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan" (there is a difference between the Super Saiyan God and Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan forms) , is one of Vegeto 's most powerful forms. 💥
In Dragon Ball Super, Vegeto's fusion is made possible thanks to the Potaras Earrings, bringing Goku and Vegeta into fusion. This form is perhaps the most complex because, unlike other natural forms, Super Saiyan Blue requires significant energy requirements. In addition to fusion, both users must train vigorously and absorb the powers of a god, not easy to establish at the first time! But that's what makes it unique. 👍
9. SUPER SAIYAN FUTURE TRUNKS
Future Trunks is different from Trunks' usual timeline in the Dragon Balls Z series. In the future, where androids roam the Earth seeking chaos and destruction, Trunks is one of the few survivors (similar to the plot of the Terminator films) . 😯

Super Saiyan Rosé differs in the manga since in it, Super Saiyan Rosé is a derivative form of Super Saiyan God , and in the anime, she is Black Goku's regular Super Saiyan form. We will recall that Goku Black is the evil double of Son Goku, who is in fact Zamasu . It's confusing, but it's a fascinating form created exclusively for the Dragon Ball saga.
7. GOKU SUPER SAIYAN GOD
The Super Saiyan God appeared in both the anime and the film Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods , which is canon to Dragon Ball. So we saw Goku take the Super Saiyan God form in the canonical film and also in the anime when he appeared for the first time in the episode of Dragon Ball Super SOS from the Future: A New Dark Enemy Appears ! 📺

4. GOKU SUPER SAIYAN 3
We won't forget the first time we saw Goku transform into Super Saiyan 3 in Dragon Ball Z. Facing Babidi and Majin Buu, it was clear that Goku was completely overwhelmed by events. By transforming into Super Saiyan 3, he greatly reduced his time on Earth, but this transformation gave him the strength necessary to delay the fearsome Majin Buu . 🦹♂️

Born in the same hospital as Goku , Broly lay next to him while Goku cried uncontrollably. Broly (who was filled with rage) took root in the fact that Goku was his nemesis. 🤬

2. GOKU SUPER SAIYAN
Fans have heard of the Legend of the Super Saiyan , but even with the foreshadowing, many were stunned to see Goku transform into a Super Saiyan for the first time. The most obvious reveal of Goku 's ascension to this Super Saiyan form was the transformation episode title, " Finally Transformed ". The creators of Dragon Ball did a hell of a job not to spoil the episode, but the transformation was still incredible. 🥰
