1. FEATURES OF ULTRA INSTINCT
This form is essentially identical to the standalone Ultra Instinct 's initial state, although the user's hair becomes silver in color. The warrior's hair is then much more rigid and solid. The eyes take on a more austere and defined shape, with silver irises and visible pupils. In the anime we can also notice the expressions of a face that is both confident and threatening, enough to upset any opponent! 👺

2. MASTERED ULTRA INSTINCT
Son-goku 's transformation into his Ultra Instinct form is done in much the same way as the transformation into Super Saiyan Goku (that form where lightning appears) . But often a transformation of such great importance is not so easy to trigger, it may not even be wanted. A transformation into a super saiyan can be done after a shocking event such as the death of a loved one and it is more or less similar for Ultra Instinct! 💀
Remember : Goku's desperate struggle to survive against Jiren allows him to break his limits and finally activate the initial Ultra Instinct form after taking the full force of his own genkidama and the enormous Ki charge that came with it. Goku will therefore finally be able to complete the Ultra Instinct form after this turnaround! 💥
3. VEGETA ULTRA INSTINCT
Enter Goku And Vegeta, we can say that it is a long story of friendship and hatred. Goku being more powerful than Vegeta , the latter is in a way jealous of his power and will try to surpass himself by all means to achieve his power, and even becoming better at any given moment is an obsession for him. 4. ULTRA INSTINCT: AN UNSTABLE TECHNIQUE
Ultra Instinct may very well be the form ultimate Goku , but it is preceded by an unstable form, much less secure. When Goku first succumbs to this force, it is at this very moment that he can begin to compete with J iren and to touch him or dodge his blows. 💨
We will later see that Goku will once again be able to use the Ultra Instinct transformation in a fierce fight against Kafla . With this transformation Goku is then able to dodge the slightest blow unconsciously, but he has not yet mastered the full power of this form and he will have to train for a long time. 🤼♂️
5. THE LIMITS OF ULTRA INSTINCT
Although Ultra Instinct is an overpowering technique, it necessarily has its limits. Firstly, as we said before, this is not a form that Goku can voluntarily adopt, meaning that this technique is only viable in cases of extreme danger. ⚠️
Even worse, Ultra Instinct is not at all viable in terms of durability. Beyond a minute or two in this form, Goku's body then begins to suffer negative effects from this overpowering, leading to painful shocks of Dark Ki and then a potential loss of consciousness. Whis even mentions at one point that spending too much time in Ultra Instinct form could even deal fatal damage to its user. Knowing that often, everything depends on Goku , one can wonder if the use of this technique is really viable.. 😵
6. WILL GOKU BE ABLE TO USE ULTRA INSTINCT AGAIN ?
Towards the end of Dragon Ball Super , Goku explains to Vegeta that he can no longer achieve the Ultra Instinct form, assuming that he unwittingly transformed after being pushed beyond his limits by Jiren . He is not able to activate his transformation when he wants and he fears not being able to use it again. 😲
And that's normal, Ultra Instinct is the most evolved form, we can understand that it is difficult to achieve and that it does not work like the other transformations that we are used to. 8. BEERUS ULTRA INSTINCT
We know that Ultra Instinct is a form that almost all gods can achieve (Goku is the only exception) . It is a very complex transformation reserved for the elite. Whis was seen using it in the Dragon Ball Resurrection movie . Well, imagine that another legendary character in the manga has managed to master it and it is none other than Beerus himself! In the Anime, all Whis says is that Beerus still hasn't managed to master Ultra Instinct. Which means Beerus can't use Ultra Instinct as well as Whis. But in reality he has already perfected this form and can obviously use it to attack and defend whenever he wants.
In fact, it's already much more than what Goku can do at this moment with this technique. The Beerus vs Goku fight was so easy that he didn't even bother to use Ultra Instinct at all. So in more ways than one, anyone can say that Beerus would have actually used less than 1% of his true power. 😅
9. ULTRA INSTINCT IN JAPANESE
Migatte no Gokui, this is the Japanese term which means Ultra Instinct. 👹
The name Ultra Instinct may seem like a logical term, but the original Japanese name for this form has a lot more to it. Migatte no Gokui is a term that means several things and can be interpreted in several ways, although none of them translate directly into something exactly specific like "Ultra Instinct". Let’s break down this term together!
- Migatte : colloquially means selfishness.
- Gokui: is equivalent to masterful teaching and the secret of an art or skill.
We could then think that this term has something to do with mastering selfishness, which doesn't really make sense, we grant you. However, in proper context, the name Ultra Instinct roughly translates to "control of the body in independent movement." This being far too long and conventional a term to be used, Ultra Instinct was used in its place for the French and English version.

10. DURATION OF ULTRA INSTINCT?
Although it appears that Goku has mastered Ultra Instinct, he was not able to do so completely by the end of the series Dragon Ball Super . He was only able to surpass the form just before Full Ultra Instinct (called Ultra Instinct Sign) in a tournament against Jiren ! Indeed, it was only after this fighter's repetitive attacks that he was finally able to unlock the final form of Ultra Instinct and was thus able to compete against him. ⚔️
As previously explained, when he almost succeeded in defeating him, he was overcome by electric shocks of Ki from his Genkidama, which overloaded his body with incredibly powerful pain. This caused him to lose almost all of his stamina and seriously damaged him. For the moment, Ultra Instinct therefore has a limit but Goku has always been able to surpass it.
